How do tasks and events differ from activities?

Unlike many other CRM systems and calendars, in which a task (event) is identified with the work associated with the task (event), in Jusnote, the task (event) record does not automatically record the user's work on the specified task. For more information on creating a task or event, please read HERE.

Tasks and events are the user's activities that they plan to perform or in which they plan to participate in the future. On the other hand, activities are the user's actions that they have actually already performed.

A task (event) always has a start and end date and an estimated time for the user to work on a specific task or participate in the event.

In turn, any activity always has only real (actual, not calculated) duration, as well as only one date, namely the date when the time was actually used by the user when working on the task (there is no start date and end date).

Recording a task (event) in Jusnote does not automatically record the time spent working on the specified task. Invoices and certificates of work performed for clients are generated exclusively from records of time (activities) and not from records of scheduled tasks and events.

You can make a time record (fix activity) without first making a task (event) record in Jusnote.

At the same time, if you previously scheduled a particular task (event), you need to add an activity about it from the specific task (event) card.

Remember that adding an activity (time record) to a specific task card does not automatically assign the "Completed" status to the specified task. The user manually assigns the corresponding status for a task (event).
