Live chat in Jusnote

Jusnote gives you the ability to send messages in real-time to other users of your account (the feature is available in Jusnote Professional). Adding comments and messages to tasks, matters, contacts, etc. is a useful way of entering the additional information, as well as collaborative work with your team members. All the communication will be saved in one place which makes the work very convenient.

Using the chat, you can leave any comments, annotations, or any other useful information for yourself right in the card of the Contact, Matter, Tasks/Event, specific Activity, Document, Invoice, or Correspondence. 

In order users can create, view or reply the message, they need to have the appropriate access to the Contact or Matter, and, as a consequence, to documents, tasks, activities, invoices, correspondence of this Matter, or Contact. 

Adding the message/comment
To start the chat and add the message/comment to the specific card, tap on the "Message" icon  in the upper right corner of the page.


      
Enter the text of the message/comment in the field. After sending the message, any user with the access to this card can read it and reply as well. 



Notifications

You can mention your colleague by tapping "@" on your keyboard or click on the button. In this case, the selected person will get the message notification in the system's upper right corner in the notification panel,   as well as in the "Direct" tab in the Chat. You can also pin the needed message in the feed and later swiftly find it among other messages. 



Links

Sometimes you might need a link to the other tasks, event, document, etc. right in the chat to make the message more practical. In this case, tap on the "Permalink" and start typing the name of the needed entity. In the drop-down menu select it and then tap on "Send". As a result, any user can simply tap on this entity and go to it. 

Editing and deleting the message

You can edit and delete your messages. To edit or delete the message, place your cursor on the appropriate message and tap on the "Edit" or "Delete" icon.



Jusnote doesn't provide personal or private chat rooms.
